A Successful Presence at Pinnacle Summit and NACStech 2009

Pinnacle Summit 2009: American Technology Corporation participated in this year’s Pinnacle Summit by being a Silver Sponsor of the event. The summit took place May 15-17^th in Dallas, Texas.

NACStech 2009: ATC exhibited again this year at the NACStech tradeshow on May 19^th and 20^th. The conference raised the awareness and necessity for retailers to become responsible for and maintain their own compliance status. Also, PCI standards hold vendors accountable and liable for damages in the event of a breach.

There were seven sessions devoted to PCI compliance related topics. ATC’s President Shekar Swamy was a panel member of the workshop PCI Compliance: Ignorance is Not a Defense for the second year in a row. This interactive session focused on many of the still ambiguous questions that retailers have like ‘what you need to know about PCI compliance, what you need to do, and how to get the proper assistance’.
