Customer Corner

"A very knowledgeable and courteous staff. There has not been one time in 8 years that they were not able to resolve my problem. I also like the fact they are proactive. They also call you regularly just to check in and see if you are experiencing any problems. A truly professional and knowledgeable staff. A pleasure to work with."

Please check the box next to each statement below that applies to your organization and current systems:

Common Issues - check all that apply:
  1. IT needs to log all activity that occurs when mobile and remote users run the communication processes that distribute applications, data and security updates for both internal corporate and external vendor/government policy compliance.
  2. Users don't always have the latest operational or sales documents, or they are buried in the Inbox.
  3. Not all users need to download all files. A communication system must distribute files based on groups or rules that are flexible enough to control the downloading process properly and to avoid unnecessary communications traffic.
  4. IT has to study multiple logs to monitor communication activities performed by users.
  5. Current file transfer processes associated with multiple applications don't aggregate or compress data before it is transmitted in order to minimize transmission time.
  6. Users are installing unauthorized and/or unlicensed software. Licensed software is being installed on more computers than you have licenses for. Users have critical errors on their systems, unknowingly slowing down their system and/or posing security risks.
Mobile User Issues - check all that apply:
  1. Users must perform several steps in order to run regular synchronization. This could include Internet/VPN connection requiring multiple passwords, manually synching email and custom and/or 3rd Party database applications like CRM and hunting for required files/presentations on the network.
  2. No centralized way to report and analyze which users' applications have been kept up-to-date and are synchronized, or to force these updates to occur.
  3. Automatic updates are not reliable when connections are short and low-speed, and users don't always apply patches that are emailed to them. When email updates are not being applied, sending CD's is a last resort.
  4. User systems have sensitive data on them, but they are not getting backed up in case of device loss or theft, or the data isn't encrypted to protect it if it gets in the wrong hands.
  5. Slow and/or unreliable connections mean that SMS updates aren't always completing, and IT doesn't know which important updates have and have not been completed.
  6. Users don't backup essential working documents as they modify or add to them day-to-day
  7. Users are not forced to update Client Antivirus or anti-SpyWare updates and subsequently, a user connects to the server with a virus or malware.
Retail Site Issues - check all that apply:
  1. POS systems have no centrally controlled method to patch and log Operating System Patches.
  2. Bandwidth to the retail site is being overloaded, delaying critical tasks like credit authorization or price book updates.
  3. IT determines some "emergency" operations on user systems are required and must be performed prior to anything else being sent or updated, without time to notify (or trust) users to take the proper action. This is true especially when the user base is geographically dispersed or is spread over multiple time zones.
  4. Users forget to run crucial processes on a scheduled basis, such as communicating nightly close data to a central location or performing application updates.
  5. IT wants to deploy maintenance operations that must run at some point in the future, but they have no way of automating this scheduling at multiple retail sites, or they cannot control what time of day maintenance tasks are run at the sites.
  6. Updates sent out via email or CD are not getting applied. It takes extra effort to ensure application updates are completed, and there is no way of automatically tracking the application of updates.
  7. Computer Based Training (CBT) and other electronic media are too large to be sent to all sites over existing infrastructure.
